Hogan Companies Providing Workout Services to Lenders

Hogan Companies, a land brokerage, consulting, investment and development firm based in Annapolis, Maryland, has been increasingly in demand by national, regional and local lenders in the Mid-Atlantic region to assist in the workout and disposition of troubled assets and notes. Once the real estate market hit its peak in 2007 and values began to tumble, Hogan Companies team members began to cultivate relationships with lenders which positioned the company to transition into servicing distressed loans and REO properties while the traditional sales market continues to reset.

While Hogan Companies’ brokerage portfolio has been filling up with REO properties it is marketing for sale, they have also been working on behalf of several lenders as consultants, working in a variety of roles to manage development, create workout strategies, value single assets and portfolios, as well as market and sell distressed notes.
