Timothy Hogan is a 29-year veteran of the real estate industry, specializing in capital markets and financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and the complex development, entitlement, and repositioning of land assets. As President and CEO of HOGAN—the preeminent land advisory, consulting, and brokerage firm in the Mid-Atlantic—he leads a firm that has shaped regional land development since its founding in 1985.

In addition to his role as President and CEO of HOGAN, Mr. Hogan serves as Managing Partner of Hogan Development, a land investment and development entity. In this capacity, he directly oversees all phases of project execution, including land assemblage, zoning and entitlements, engineering, permitting, structured finance, and budget management.  Hogan Development’s portfolio spans virtually every major real estate sector, including residential, commercial, industrial, data centers, solar, hospitality, mixed-use, and affordable housing.

Mr. Hogan earned a B.S. in Finance, magna cum laude, from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was selected as the Commencement Speaker.  Prior to joining HOGAN in 1999, he held positions with Rodgers Consulting in Montgomery County and Ridgecrest Investments in Frederick, Maryland.

He is an active member of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C., the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Hogan resides in Annapolis and Easton, Maryland, with his wife, Kristin, and their four sons.
